Beyond Manitoba

It’s important to analyze your company’s skills and knowledge needs prior to beginning a work-based learning initiative. A detailed analysis of how your employees actually deliver value and what they need to do so will drive solutions that provide the greatest impact for the fewest dollars

Sometimes you don’t know what you don’t know.

Now we all know that the more you know about your existing workforce, the more you can do.

But how could/would/should we do that?

At last December’s Reframing Manitoba’s Workforce: Uncovering Hidden Skills featuring Dr. Peter Senge, we heard from a variety of people and organizations from around Manitoba who have done just that. There’s much to learn from these workplace RPL success stories.

It was a first step. Your interest is piqued.  But what’s next?

Your turn is next.

One thing that came through loud and clear at the conference is that there’s some fuzziness surrounding just what RPL in the work place should look like.

So WPLAR is embarking on a quid pro quo consultation with Manitoba employers: we’ll ask you questions about your needs and how we can help you and you can ask us about how you can take RPL to the next level in your workplace. We’ll be reaching out to some organizations we think may be interested, but don’t hesitate to contact us all on your own.

Let’s connect and – together – see what we can uncover.
